Ready, Set, Robotics! is a small company with a big goal: make competitive robotics something any classroom can afford. We design simple, low-cost robotics games and the materials educators need to run them — so more students get to build, program, and compete.
Meet the Founder
Ready, Set, Robotics! was founded by Matt, who spent six years competing in VEX and FIRST robotics through middle and high school. He didn't compete in college, but stayed active in the robotics community the whole way through.
Matt graduated from the University of Connecticut in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and works as an actuary.
He started Ready, Set, Robotics! to spread robotics to more students. It's an expensive subject, and Matt saw that firsthand — his own public schools ran into funding problems just registering for competitions. Ready, Set, Robotics! is his answer: an affordable alternative that keeps the hands-on, competitive experience while taking the cost barriers out of the way.
Our mission
Robotics teaches engineering, coding, and teamwork like nothing else. We believe a school's budget shouldn't decide who gets to experience it — so we make the games affordable, the rules simple, and the setup something any educator can handle.
